nourish body, mind, and spirit in order to create physical independence by maintaining and possibly improving your health. apart from physical exercise it is important to realize that we constantly grow new cells. by eating right (pesticide-free organic, non-processed foods) we rebuild ourselves continuously. indeed, our ability to live a healthy and long life results directly from the quality of food we fuel our body with. Keep in mind that just 7,000-10,000 years of agriculture (the neolithic era) and the eating of grains, sugars, and most recently processed foods have not yet altered our digestive system in a way that enables proper digestion of such foods. safer is it to look at what our paleolithic ancestors ate and enabled them to evolve into the species we are today. that means meats, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and little else.

our muscles were designed during a long period of evolution to carry our body weight as well as anything we caught, killed, or foraged. therefore, body weight exercises are the most natural and complete muscle building and maintenance methods for our physical system. strength and endurance can be trained by mimicking many of the motions and movements our ancestors made on a daily basis, such as walking, squatting, sprinting, and carrying heavy loads.
